EU Boosts Transport Connectivity: Western Balkans Set for Integrated TEN-T Network
In May, the European Commission signed agreements with Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia to adapt the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) to the Western Balkans.
These agreements will favor a much better transport connectivity between EU and Western Balkan countries, by integrating the regional transport networks with those of the EU. This will promote the development of sustainable and efficient transport connectivity and prepare EU candidate countries for their future participation.
