CocoonFMS® has introduced a new partnership with Breeze, an embedded cargo insurance platform, to provide real-time, per-shipment insurance quotes directly within CocoonOPS, its transport management system (TMS). This integration allows freight forwarders to receive instant all-risk insurance quotes without exiting their workflow. The system automatically transfers shipment data to Breeze, which returns a live quote and enables one-click policy confirmation—cutting down on time and administrative effort.
According to CocoonFMS® Co-Founder James Blackman, this move aims to eliminate traditional inefficiencies tied to manual insurance processes, such as delayed quotes and paperwork. By embedding Breeze’s API technology into CocoonOPS, the platform modernizes insurance workflows, aligning them with the speed and demands of contemporary freight logistics. The result is faster quoting, clearer coverage, and smoother claims management.
Breeze Co-Founder Matthew Phillips emphasized that insurance should enhance—not hinder—logistics operations. This integration supports that vision by offering immediate protection during shipment booking. In today’s challenging shipping landscape, where risks and cost pressures are growing, the solution allows freight teams to streamline insurance tasks and concentrate more on their core duties. The feature is now available for all CocoonOPS users.
