Singapore is trying to develop a port for drones

Singapore is trying to develop a port for drones for the delivery of ship supplies and has announced that it will launch a call for proposals by the end of the year. The port is expected to facilitate the delivery of supplies to ships at sea, including the ones in international waters.

Singapore has already tested drone deliveries for ships and has partnered with companies to develop the first large-scale electric cargo drones. In addition, the multipurpose port of Jurong has partnered with the developer of advanced air mobility infrastructures and the drone operator Skyports, to explore the development of ship-to-shore infrastructure.
