Contact Form

Your data collected through the contact forms on this website is used exclusively to respond to your inquiries and is not used for any other purposes. Your data, specifically your name and email, remain in our email account as the forms do not collect data within any database. Your data remains in our email account for 3 months, after which your emails and your data are automatically and irreversibly deleted.

If you wish to remove your data earlier, you can do so by sending us an email through the contact form at the following address: info@tieffe-group.it, specifying “removal of personal data” in the subject line. We will manually remove your data within 7 working days.

Use of Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics, a statistical tracking tool that uses cookies and other analysis parameters. No personal user data is intentionally acquired by the website. The use of session cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient site navigation. The session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other potentially harmful computer techniques for the confidentiality of user browsing and do not allow the acquisition of the user’s identifying personal data. The use of persistent cookies is strictly limited to the acquisition of statistical data useful for understanding the level of usage of the website.

Google Analytics

This website also includes components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). These are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookies). Google Analytics uses “cookies” to collect and analyze information anonymously about the user’s website usage behavior (including the user’s IP address). This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it to generate reports for operators regarding activities on the websites themselves. This website does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) the Google Analytics tool to track or collect personally identifiable information. Google does not associate the IP address with any other data held by Google nor does it attempt to link an IP address with the identity of a user. Google may also disclose this information to third parties where required by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. For further information, please refer to the following link: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. Users can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on their browsers. To disable the action of Google Analytics, please refer to the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Cookie Duration

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the logout command is executed. Other cookies “survive” the browser closure and are also available on subsequent visits by the user. These cookies are called persistent and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases, an expiration date is set, while in other cases, their duration is unlimited.

Cookie Management

Users can decide whether to accept or reject cookies by using their browser settings. Please note that disabling all or certain technical cookies may compromise the functionality of the website. Disabling “third-party” cookies does not affect the browsing experience in any way.

Browser settings can be defined specifically for different websites and web applications. Furthermore, the best browsers allow you to define different settings for “first-party” and “third-party” cookies.

For example, in Firefox, you can access a control panel by going to the Tools -> Options -> Privacy menu, where you can define whether to accept or reject different types of cookies and proceed with their removal.

Data Protection

This website takes the protection of your personal data seriously. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data. However, please note that no transmission over the internet or electronic storage method is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We only process your personal data for the purposes stated in this privacy policy and only for the period necessary to achieve those purposes unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Definitions

Cookies are small pieces of text (letters and/or numbers) that allow the web server to store information on the client’s (browser) device to be reused during the same visit to the website (session cookies) or on subsequent visits, even days later (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored, based on user preferences, by the individual browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone).

Similar technologies, such as web beacons, transparent GIFs, and all forms of local storage introduced with HTML5, can be used to collect information about user behavior and service usage. In this document, we will refer to cookies and all similar technologies simply as “cookies.”

Types of Cookies

Based on their characteristics and use, we can distinguish different categories of cookies:

Technical Cookies: These cookies are used solely for the purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network or, to the extent strictly necessary, to the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service” (Article 122, paragraph 1, Privacy Code). They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which ensure the normal navigation and use of the website (for example, allowing a purchase or authentication to access restricted areas).

Analytical Cookies: These cookies are similar to technical cookies and are used directly by the website manager to collect aggregated information about access and the number of users, as well as how they use the website. They serve exclusively statistical purposes.

Functional Cookies: These cookies allow users to navigate based on a series of selected criteria, such as language or products selected for purchase, in order to improve the service.

Profiling Cookies: These cookies are intended to create user profiles and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the web.

Third-Party Cookies: During website navigation, the user may receive cookies on their device from different sites or web servers, which are set directly by website operators or servers other than the site being visited. These cookies may be sent to the user’s browser by third-party companies directly from their websites, which can be accessed while browsing the site. In such cases, the operator of this site is not involved in the operation of these cookies, as their sending is the responsibility of these third-party companies. Third-Party and Advertising Cookies

When visiting a website, users can receive cookies both from the visited site (“first-party cookies”) and from sites managed by other organizations (“third-party cookies”). An important example is the presence of “social plugins” such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Vimeo, Whatsapp and LinkedIn. These are parts of the visited page generated directly by the aforementioned sites and integrated into the hosting site’s page. The most common use of social plugins is for content sharing on social networks. The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites managed by third parties. The management of information collected by “third parties” is governed by their respective privacy policies, to which you should refer.
